Prices are Australian dollars. Postage* is extra.

Postage* is calculated and then added to the cost of your order. Your credit card is charged one amount, i.e. the total cost of your order plus postage.
For orders of single copies of Birding Australia, Daintree Jewel of Tropical North Queensland and A Field Guide to the Mammals of Australia, postal charges are indicated on their respective individual pages.

Once we have calculated the total of your order including shipping we will email you a PayPal invoice.

Direct bank deposit
If you choose this option we will send you the account details with your final invoice.

*Note: Due to hefty transaction fees charged by Australian banks, and lengthy clearance times, international cheques cannot be accepted.
However, international bank drafts in Australian dollars issued by your local bank are accepted.

Orders posted to an Australian address are sent at standard postal rates via Australia Post. However, when an order for several items weighs less than 3 kg, sometimes it is more economical to send via Express Post.

If your order is urgent, please indicate this by inserting a note in the Comments box on the Shopping Cart page ~ your order will then be sent Express Post which is usually only a dollar or two above standard postage rates; in some instances it is less.

Orders posted to an overseas address
Small orders to an overseas address (single books, two or three small books including Birding Australia, Daintree Jewel of Tropical North Queensland and most field guides, DVDs, CDs):
If the total weight of your order does not exceed 750 g (about 1.5 lb), the order is sent airmail. With small parcels difference in cost between airmail and surface mail is only a few dollars. However, delivery times vary considerably ~ airmail usually 6 to 10 days to most destinations; surface mail about 6 to12 weeks.

If you prefer your order be sent other than airmail, or would like a quote for postage, please indicate this in the Comments box on the Shopping Cart page when placing your order.

Large orders to an overseas address Due to the complex nature of postal charges, the postage cost will be emailed to you as soon as possible. Your credit card is not charged until you approve the total cost of your order, including postage.
